This is a high-level introduction to carbon fiber composite materials and how they are used in aircraft, marine & automotive manufacturing. This presentation will also discuss how they differ from metals in relation to failure modes and manufacturing processes. In-person instruction will include sample parts and teaching aides to help the students better understand the behavior of composites.
